Step-by-Step Instructions
- 1.Park the vehicle on a level surface and allow the tires to cool for at least three to four hours to ensure an accurate cold pressure reading.
- 2.Locate the recommended tire pressure sticker on the driver’s side door jamb or inside the fuel cap door.
- 3.Remove the valve stem cap from the tire you are checking.
- 4.Press the tire pressure gauge firmly onto the valve stem until the hissing sound stops and the gauge displays a reading.
- 5.Compare the reading on the gauge to the recommended PSI found on the vehicle sticker.
- 6.Add air using an air compressor if the pressure is low, or press the center poppet valve to bleed air if the pressure is too high.
- 7.Replace the valve stem cap securely after reaching the correct pressure.
- 8.Repeat the process for all remaining tires.
