1.Ensure the impact driver is turned off and the battery is removed.
2.Apply penetrating oil to the area around the stuck bit and let it sit for several minutes to loosen any rust or debris.
3.Use needle-nose pliers to grip the shank of the stuck bit firmly.
4.Gently wiggle the bit back and forth while pulling it outwards to remove it from the chuck.
5.If the bit remains stuck, insert an Allen wrench into the chuck to hold it in place.
6.Use a rubber mallet to tap the end of the Allen wrench gently, which may help loosen the bit.
7.If the bit is still stuck, remove the chuck from the impact driver by pulling the collar away from the front of the tool.
8.Once the chuck is removed, tap the driver on a workbench to dislodge the broken bit.
9.After removing the bit, clean the chuck area to remove any debris or rust.
10.Reinstall the chuck by sliding it back onto the driver and releasing the collar to secure it in place.
11.Test the impact driver to ensure it operates correctly after the bit removal.
